Meet Susan
Carter
| Hello, I'm
Susan Carter.
I have always been a
little wary of Web sites that don't show-and-tell about
the people whose products and services are represented. I
look for a face to go with the name, and search for some
kind of information that indicates they know what they're
talking about. For those of you who do the same, this
page is for you!

For the past seven years, I've
been helping small businesses "do more with less" as a
consultant for operations and marketing. Initially, I contracted
with a franchise developer as a writer to develop and document
procedure manuals for new franchise businesses. With a previous,
extensive background as a writer and designer of marketing,
advertising, and publicity materials, I was also asked to create
high-impact, low-cost marketing campaigns for each franchise.
Eventually, I began working independently with non-franchise,
small business owners who could significantly benefit by
adapting the same business system model used by successful
franchises. In 1998,
during a
conversation with a client, I expressed my frustration with
being able to serve so few clients at one time. Due to the
average 3-6 month, start-to-finish time investment for each
client's manual, I was getting requests I couldn't immediately
fulfill. I also mentioned that there were many other small
business owners and independent professionals who understood the
value of developing their own business system, but simply
couldn't afford to have me work so intensely on their projects.
My client said, "Susan, you're a writer! Write down the
steps of the process so they can do it themselves, and sell it
to them as a book." Taking
this remark to heart, one year later, I created Nasus
Publishing, and self-published my first book, How
To Make Your Business Run Without You. Since then, I
continue to offer one-on-one consulting services for those who
want and need undivided attention. However, after
an overwhelming response to the first do-it-yourself book, I
actively pursue creative ways to offer low-cost, personal
"consulting" so, in addition to offering book and
ebook products, I've just introduced my new e-class
series. Perhaps the
best way to get to know me, and find out if the information I
offer can help your business, is to sign up for my FREE
SuccessExpress Press ezine. Every article is written by me,
designed to give practical advice for operations and marketing.
And every review I give about others products or services is
based on personal experience. If the information in SuccessExpress
Press doesn't apply to your business, it's just as
easy to unsubscribe. Use the "sign up" box at the top right
side of this page to subscribe and you'll receive my 29 Ways to
Increase Profits and Productivity ebook absolutely free. I
am constantly searching for ways to solve small business
challenges and share them with my readers. If you have a specific problem you'd like me to
address in my ezine, or would like to share a solution that
could help other small business owners, please feel free to

To your success,
